Salvage in Ragnarok actually pays off!

On Wednesday we got KV again, and this time I was Bard for it which I must admit, was a nice change. SV’d Madrigals for the melee to just rape that scorpion and actually, we got drop!

He’s been camping it alot, so I am sure he well deserves it. Grats!

Next day SpikeFlail was doing Limbus, and since I’m pretty much broke, couldn’t join. The good thing, though is that Jowy didn’t find a party for SCH (well that’s not a good thing, I know~) so together along with Kerb went out for some Sea farming. Sadly I believe we just got a Grah M Chip for Fortitude, which I guess it’s fine, but it was quite troublesome.

I went on Red Mage, I really need to finish that job as soon as possible, or at least get it to 72! I’m playing it mostly gimp for the time being (i.e. no pants/cape/belt) so stuff resists alot. It was all good fun though, as much as I died! But I think that everytime there’s a meeting of tarus in Sea, death is inminent, so as far as the Universe’s stability remains, I’m happy. :D

I believe this was on Thursday and after that I went to bed (and left the couple do their couples-things under no surveillance at all!).

On Friday I took most of the time to do windower macros and camped KV, though no pop sadly, afterwards SF had Odin which according to Jowy dropped W.Body, E.body and some Phantasmal abjuration I can’t really recall (I have such bad memory). After it though, Salvage was scheduled and being my first run “ever” and with people I don’t know much I admit I was a bit nervous. Jowy settled me down though, told me not to worry and to do as told. Man I really enjoyed it, pity we didn’t kill the Bhaflau remnants boss, wipe at 9% :/ We’ll get it next time, I’m sure! And now, pics!

Many taru lives were spared, including mine (about 3 times?), Jowy’s, Ultimatetaru and even the live of Roulateau, a brave companion. It actually paid off though as we got Anu’s Tiara which I passed (I don’t think I ought to lot, not yet at least, and I don’t have funds to build a salvage piece either). Panoramix and Pace got Hizaku feet which completes Pace’s 3/3 on Usukane feet, Grats!!!!

Today dynamis… can’t wait!

Account recovery and King Vinegarroon, all in one day!

As most of you deduced from the last post, I managed to snatch back my character. The process was shorter than I expected (took a week and a day) and was really well-attended by SE employees.

After being able to actually log back in the first instinctive was ti check Inventory, Mog House and Mog locker. There was barely anything valuable left, only three NQ staves (light, wind and ice) and the character was in the worst imagined conditions. It helped a bit though, that the character was returned to me before they had time to move gil out of it, so it had 900k in it, which allowed me to regear in its most basic form both White Mage and Bard (this last one  needs only a Wind torque to return to it’s prior state). White mage, on the other hand, was slightly harder.

Was able to buy a Noble’s tunic, blessed slacks, rainbow cape (choosen because Black Mage can use it as well). Lucky me, I still have some R/Ex that will get the work done (such as Rostrum pumps) but I’ll still miss most of the gear.

After fixing and doing some basic macros Jowah finally logged on. She was pretty surprised, because I hadn’t told anyone except Cookies (who was on msn at the same time I was getting ahold of the account). She was leveling SCH so I proceeded to PL (or rather help PL) so I could unrusty a bit more. Meanwhile King Vinegarroon popped and SpikeFlail didn’t have many players on, so I tagged along to help hold it until more players could log on to kill.

It was really fun, got to meet many nice people and very skilled as well! Sadly KV had nothing really good for us (in other words, no drop!). But I got access to a new Title, which I am thankfull for~

Hopefully can get ToAU done now, and get some money to finally ungimp myself a little bit more.

Practicing a bit

Quickie update. Like I said in livejournal, no news yet on the restoral of the account, but today Cookies was playing and 2boxing his other account, so I offered to play with it… He let me play Toxity (lolHume but thanks a bunch!), then just PlasticSurgeon‘d to look like myself.

Of course, I used the powerful arts of dancing to look myself like a fool.

Now let’s hope I can do this on my character soon (and preferably on my Aristo’s WHM!)

Odin hecatombe.

Unexpected update for unexpected events. Some of you might have noted small mentions to Einherjar on several past updates. Well here is the final proof of what have we really been up to. As far as I know, and please correct me if I’m wrong, we’re probably the 1st Na LS (funny I say that, being Eu) on successfully clearing all Einherjar’s wings and kill Odin with great drops.

I had to wake up at 4 a.m. for most runs, especially later, I couldn’t miss it. After much planning and what would be our first encounter, we finished off Odin. I’m not allowed to talk much about strategy for the fight itself, and I don’t think it’s good to globalise strategies. Every LS has its ways of tanking/killing HNMs.
Can’t really say it was a hard fight for me as Whm, tanks did an awesome job so there wasn’t much to do. Pretty straightforward fight with unavoidable deadly AoEs (I got hit by one while trying to get a good shot of Odin -2983 dmg with capped Stoneskin and Max. Shellra V-).

Drops of course were a surprise, since most of us were joking, saying it’d drop D.feet, M.legs or god knows what, but they were far more great. And now, for the eyecandy (though not many.. I was Whm :/)

And… the drops! (what everyone is really looking for, right? :P )

My most sincerest congrats to Cyrii, Arrithon, Shentau(Swc), Kumitejuice on A.body, W.Head, H.legs & Valhalla breastplate!
Personal grats to Cyrii on A.body not only because I wish I was her but because she’s a very good friend of mine and person who deserved it the most in there (granted I lotted 72 for it, lol) and plays Brd almost daily (thus making this a good use!). I love you Cyrii, have my babies!

One chamber left for Odin…!

Weee wanted one of these for long long time! (Thanks Sev and Kamicat.. I could never read Japanese >.>). I’ve actually lied, my Rdm is not 75, but it’s pretty close (let’s keep the mystery about it!).

Anyway, we’ve been a bit busy, even though Kings are on JP time mostly (coming slightly to NA). We’ve been doing some Attestation runs for our upcoming Apocalypse since Kazuy already completed Amanomurakumo and Maat’s cap (lolpatience).

In terms of drops, not very lucky.. though the line for Whm Afv2 Body is getting short, which really cheers me up (I believe only a person before me stands between me and that piece .-.) Sadly Velosareon dropped again Gkatana, instead of our beloved Scythe that we’re going after, same with Goubelfaupe that dropped Sword isntead of Shield.. *sigh*.

We’re doing great progress in Einherjar being it namely the clearance of 2 out of 3 Tier3 wings. That means if all goes well and we succeed as good as we did on Monday, this Thursday, we could be facing Odin really REALLY soon. :D

No real good drops, aside from lolHydra mats.

Soooo we did more of the same stuff.. it’s taking my time from leveling Rdm (in all honestly I just want to get done with this job at this time… -_-).

On other news (but no pics) what is mostly the most important thing, we cleared one of the wings in tier3 Einherjar. The boss was a KB-mob type but slightly different (won’t go into detail.. there’s SPIES!). Also hi2u Behe horn drop but nothing else. Anyway pics of random stuff we did.

Unless there’s drops attached to the pics means we got jack shit. Seriously way2go SE, way2go..

How do I Vanquish? How do I Dethrone?

Like the title suggests, we went out and /poke Vrtra (and Kay Bee)~

We wiped at 1% on our first attempt, and after some people emo logged off, and rethought about the strat went and killed again^^; The fight itself was really smooth, but adds is a big deal (I was adds as Blm). If you don’t kill fast because of hate linked hate of Vrtra’s pops with Vrtra you’ll end up running around all the time following that Pld.

It was really fun, I was so excited lol. This is a great accomplishment to me, even though I didn’t get the title, as feel as if I did. Anyway here are pics, since that’s what people really comes here for.

King Behemoth was nice since it was 1st window (no point in not saying this, since there’s maintenance just now XD) and we got (Plaz, Caster and I got claim.. still trying to see who actually got it <.<). Smooth fight with only 1 harmless meteor going off, and bank also got some nice money off tongue~.

Yes, the title is not misleading, we’ve been so busy slaying every single thing existant in Vana’Diel that I literally didn’t have enough time to take pictures > edit them > write it on LJ.

We’ve been doing more Dynamis, San D’Oria (for Kumi’s Shield, which he already has Congrats! -pics to come on next update) and Xarcabard (we did another Beaucedine I believe but didn’t really take pics or anything).

In the side of 72hrs Hnms, should have to mention: Khimaira 2x, Tiamat, Cerberus, Hydra:

1st Khim didn’t drop shit (well moar lolbst mats) 2nd though..

I should post a random screenshot of how awesome I am, and how I landed Elegy on Khim without Elemental Seal but I will not :3 regarding this, I also stopped saving those 3 merits (needed 5) to finish Barspells up and threw them into Troubadour. This way we’ll have Khimaira totally locked under elegy. ^_^

What else.. Oh, Tiamat. She’s been so stingy lately. I swear to god I *want* to see gaiters drop or “something” (lolNkote) but she didn’t drop this time again ._. We should thank our friends in Pixies for wiping so much to this Tiamat. I guess having 20+ people in region isn’t enough! In their defense I have to say this one was a mean one. Even I pulled hate in early stages, during a flight, and tanked it good (so easy lol, Cure 3 > Stoneskin > rinse repeat) because hate was messy. Even though what I just said, I didn’t have to log hate once from 100% to 0%, which I think it’s a good accomplishment for my Whm (and yes, for those skeptical people, it Roared three times).

And last, but not least, Hydra prolly one of the easiest fights if you know how to remove status ailments fast. This mob is basically TPburned and just have to be careful with the Regen. Anyway, new title! (as an addendum I aparently didn’t take pictures of Cerberus.. oh well, another time will be :/ -anyway no algol so who cares!? XD -).

In the Kings area we weren’t as lucky as with the ones above, but we pulled our fair share of NQs and HQs^^; (I claimed Niddy!)

Good ol’ Faffy not dropping Ridill for us again. But finally….. Nidhogg had a surprise for us… *drumroll*

Hah! bet you all expected a picture with me lotting A.Body!?!?! Nope! Anyway, Grats to Shentau (Swc) and Weseley on their E and M bodies respectively. Long awaited ones too! ^_^
